I will put on a credit card that I have used for a balance transfer, with 0% until 10/31/08....

Today I am most grateful...........

My husband's throat problem is nothing serious
Floating in the pool and reading a book
My children playing together
My mother-in-law not being tossed from the hospital
Having the opportunity to put large amounts on my credit cards for business, pay off and get the miles for cash and travel
Garden tomatoes.....yummy!
School starts tomorrow and my kids are alive and well to attend

Money-making idea......

Use a credit card (that will give you money back/miles) for as many items as you can but RECORD those charges in your check book, like you wrote out a check for each transaction. For example, groceries, gas, any bills with automatic payment. If you record each transaction like you wrote a check, you will not get carried away with not having the money to pay the credit card. I highlight those amounts in yellow, so when the credit card statement comes, check your stmt with your yellow high-lighted items in your checkbook. Pay your credit card and enter a dummy deposit for all the charges you recorded as checks (to get your bank balance corrected). You will be amazed of how quickly you will earn money. Not to mention it is great for having a budget and seeing where your money goes each month! I also get a year-end statement that is itemized, good for planning next years budget. I can't wait for the day, my mortgage company takes credit card!
