I'm taking that $400 bucks and heading to Sam's Club or BJ's to stock up on all the non perishables - things like toilet paper, paper towels, boxes of cereal, snacks for school lunches, etc. I used to do this regularly and if you are careful, you really do save money buying these items in bulk rather than buying every week at the local grocery store.
Today I am most grateful for...
- My parents and their unconditional love
- Having a low humidity/higher air quality and not too hot day that I can actually open windows instead of running the central air to keep it comfortable and allergin-free for my asthmatic child.
- My back with 3 herniated discs which seems to be repairing itself or at least giving me a long break from the constant discomfort and pain!
Money making ideas...
Since I'm on a decluttering kick, I could sell some underused/never used electronics I have had for awhile... a photo printer from Sony, a video camera that takes those little cassettes since we upgraded to a digital one this year, an epson color printer, an HP Scan jet thing that scans normally but can also scan a stack of photos automatically and scan photo negatives. I'd sell all that stuff if I could find buyer(s)!
